Prevention of atherothrombotic events (heart attack, stroke) in patients with recent myocardial infarction, recent ischemic stroke, or established peripheral arterial disease; used in acute coronary syndrome and after coronary stenting as prescribed
Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet medicine that irreversibly blocks the platelet P2Y12 (ADP) receptor. This reduces platelet activation and aggregation, helping prevent formation of harmful blood clots in arteries.
Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily, with or without food. Swallow tablet whole with water; take at the same time each day. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice, especially after stent/ACS.
Common side effects of Clopilet 75 Tablet may include:


Increases risk of bleeding; seek urgent care for unusual bleeding, black stools, blood in urine, vomiting blood, severe headache/weakness. Inform doctor before surgery/dental procedures. Use caution in liver disease, peptic ulcer, bleeding disorders. Rare: thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) and severe allergic reactions.
