Fluticasone furoate 200 mcg + Vilanterol 25 mcg per actuation (labeled as FF 200/25; product name shows 250, verify pack)
Maintenance treatment of asthma and COPD to reduce symptoms such as wheeze, breathlessness, chest tightness and to prevent exacerbations.
Fluticasone furoate is an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation and hyperresponsiveness. Vilanterol is a long-acting beta2-agonist that relaxes bronchial smooth muscle to keep airways open for prolonged symptom control.
Use by inhalation exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day. Not for sudden asthma attacks; keep a rescue inhaler (e.g., salbutamol). Rinse mouth/gargle after each use to reduce oral thrush; ensure correct inhaler technique.
Common side effects of Combihale FF 250 Inhaler may include:
Not a rescue medicine for acute bronchospasm. Increased risk of pneumonia in COPD; monitor for fever, increased sputum or worsening breathlessness. Use with caution in heart rhythm disorders, hypertension, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, and infections (including TB). Do not stop abruptly without medical advice.
