Known side effects of Diamet 850MG Tab include Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, metallic taste, gas/bloating, headache. Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings
Use with caution in kidney disease; periodic renal function monitoring is required. Rare risk of lactic acidosis—seek urgent care for fast/deep breathing, severe weakness, muscle pain, abdominal pain, or unusual sleepiness. Temporarily stop metformin before/after iodinated contrast imaging and major surgery as advised. Use caution in liver disease, dehydration, severe infection, or heavy alcohol use. Long-term use may reduce vitamin B12 levels; monitoring may be needed.
