How Falcigo SP Tablets. Works
Falcigo-SP Kit is a combination of three medicines: Artesunate, Sulfadoxine and Pyrimethamine which treat malaria. Artesunate and Pyrimethamine are antiparasitic medicines which work by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading. Sulfadoxine is an antibiotic which stops the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication.
Dosage & Directions
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label before use. Falcigo-SP Kit is to be taken with food.<br>This medicine is to be taken along with plenty of fluids or a light meal, heavy meal can delay medicine absorption and efficacy.

Pregnancy
Falcigo-SP Kit may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.<br>Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
