What is Human Mixtard 50 Injection used for?
Treatment of diabetes mellitus (type 1 and type 2) requiring insulin to control blood glucose levels
How Human Mixtard 50 Injection Works
This is a premixed insulin containing short-acting regular insulin for mealtime glucose control and intermediate-acting NPH insulin for longer basal control. It lowers blood glucose by increasing glucose uptake in muscle and fat and reducing glucose production by the liver.

Rotate injection sites (abdomen, thigh, upper arm); do not massage the site. Do not use if the suspension is not uniformly milky after gentle rolling.
