terfenadine/astemizole—where applicable)
cisapride
and ergot alkaloids; increases levels of statins (simvastatin/lovastatin)
benzodiazepines (midazolam/triazolam)
calcium channel blockers
digoxin
warfarin and some oral hypoglycaemics; reduced absorption with antacids
PPIs/H2 blockers (separate dosing); rifampicin/rifabutin
phenytoin
carbamazepine
St John’s wort reduce effect; caution with other QT-prolonging drugs.
