Important Warnings

Use with caution in liver disease. Montelukast has been associated with mood/behaviour changes (agitation, anxiety, sleep disturbances, depression, suicidal thoughts); stop and seek medical help if such symptoms occur. Not meant for acute asthma attacks. If you have kidney disease, heart rhythm issues, or are elderly, use under medical advice. Do not exceed prescribed dose.

Drug Interactions

MONTASMA-FX may interact with the following:

Antacids containing aluminium/magnesium (reduce fexofenadine absorption)
fruit juices (apple/orange/grapefruit) reduce fexofenadine absorption
rifampicin may reduce fexofenadine levels
gemfibrozil may increase fexofenadine levels
other sedatives/alcohol may increase dizziness (though fexofenadine is usually non-sedating)
