Bacterial infections such as ear (otitis media), sinusitis, throat/tonsillitis, lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, dental infections caused by susceptible organisms
Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that kills bacteria by inhibiting cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic acid inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes produced by some bacteria, protecting amoxicillin and extending its antibacterial spectrum.
Oral dry syrup: reconstitute with boiled and cooled water up to the mark, shake well. Give the prescribed dose using a measuring device, preferably at the start of a meal to improve tolerance; shake well before each dose. Complete the full course as directed by the doctor.
