Used for peripheral intravenous (IV) cannulation to obtain venous access for infusion of fluids, IV medicines, blood/blood products and for short-term IV access/maintenance.

An IV cannula is inserted into a peripheral vein and the needle is withdrawn, leaving a flexible catheter in place. This provides a stable pathway to deliver fluids and medications directly into the bloodstream.

For single-use by trained healthcare professionals only. Select appropriate vein, perform skin antisepsis, insert 24G cannula using aseptic technique, confirm flashback, advance catheter, remove needle, secure and connect to IV line/lock; monitor site regularly and replace/remove as per hospital protocol.

Sterile single-use device—do not reuse or resterilize. Do not use if pack is opened, damaged or past expiry. Use strict aseptic technique to reduce infection risk. Monitor for redness, swelling, pain, leakage, fever, numbness/cool limb; stop infusion and remove cannula if complications occur. Use caution in patients with fragile veins, bleeding disorders or on anticoagulants. Needle-stick injury risk—follow sharps disposal protocols.

Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature, protected from sunlight and moisture. Keep in original sterile packaging until use.
