Known side effects of S Mucolite Syrup include Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, rash. Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings
Do not use for persistent cough lasting >1–2 weeks, or with fever, rash, or persistent headache unless advised by a doctor. Use with caution in asthma (risk of bronchospasm), history of peptic ulcer/acid reflux, liver or kidney impairment. Seek medical help if breathing difficulty, wheezing, swelling, or severe allergy occurs. Avoid combining with cough suppressants unless prescribed, as mucus may get retained.
Drug Interactions
S Mucolite Syrup may interact with the following:
Cough suppressants (e.g.
dextromethorphan
codeine) may reduce mucus clearance; some mucolytics can increase antibiotic penetration into bronchial secretions (clinically used together).
