Samfibre — Side Effects & Warnings

• Bloating
• flatulence
• abdominal discomfort
• nausea
• diarrhoea (if excess)
• constipation (if inadequate water intake)

Samfibre may interact with the following:

• May reduce absorption of other oral medicines if taken together (e.g.
• levothyroxine
• iron
• digoxin
• carbamazepine); keep a 2-hour gap. If formulation contains psyllium
• it may affect blood glucose control; monitor if on antidiabetic medicines.

Always tell your doctor about all medicines you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements.
