Important Warnings

May cause dizziness or fainting especially when starting treatment or with dose changes—rise slowly from sitting/lying; avoid driving until you know its effects. Use with caution in kidney impairment and avoid/use only on medical advice in severe renal impairment; avoid in severe liver impairment. Inform surgeon/ophthalmologist before cataract/glaucoma surgery (risk of intraoperative floppy iris syndrome). Not for use in women or children. Seek help for severe allergic reaction or persistent troublesome side effects.

Silopil 8 MG Cap 10S may interact with the following:

Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g.
ketoconazole
itraconazole
ritonavir
clarithromycin) increase silodosin levels—avoid. Other alpha-blockers or antihypertensives may increase risk of low BP. PDE5 inhibitors (sildenafil
tadalafil
vardenafil) may increase hypotension risk. Grapefruit juice may increase levels—use caution.
