What is Sitared 25MG Tab used for?

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve blood sugar control
as monotherapy or in combination with other antidiabetic medicines (along with diet and exercise).

How Sitared 25MG Tab Works

Sitagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases levels of incretin hormones (GLP-1 and GIP). This enhances glucose-dependent insulin release and reduces glucagon secretion, thereby lowering blood glucose levels with a low risk of hypoglycaemia when used alone.

Dosage & Directions

Take orally exactly as prescribed, usually once daily, with or without food. Swallow tablet whole with water; take at the same time each day. Dose may need adjustment in kidney disease—do not change dose without doctor advice.
