Important Warnings

Not recommended in pregnancy (may cause fetal harm) especially in 2nd/3rd trimester; stop and consult doctor if pregnancy occurs. Risk of hyperkalemia especially with potassium supplements/salt substitutes. May cause dizziness—use caution while driving. Avoid dual blockade of RAAS unless specifically advised.
