Important Warnings

Not recommended in pregnancy (may harm fetus); use caution in breastfeeding. Risk of low BP especially with dehydration/diuretics; maintain adequate fluids. Monitor kidney function and electrolytes (potassium, sodium) periodically; caution in kidney impairment, liver disease, diabetes, gout, and history of angioedema. May increase uric acid and blood sugar. Avoid potassium supplements/salt substitutes unless advised. Photosensitivity can occur with hydrochlorothiazide.

Telzeal-H Tab may interact with the following:

Potassium supplements/potassium-sparing diuretics (spironolactone
amiloride) and salt substitutes
lithium
NSAIDs (ibuprofen/diclofenac) may reduce effect and worsen kidney function
other antihypertensives/alcohol (additive hypotension)
ACE inhibitors/aliskiren (higher risk of kidney issues and hyperkalemia—avoid in diabetes)
corticosteroids (electrolyte changes)
antidiabetic medicines (may need dose adjustment)
