sevelamer (reduced absorption); proton pump inhibitors and dietary fiber/soy/coffee may reduce absorption; warfarin (increased anticoagulant effect); antidiabetic medicines/insulin (dose adjustment may be needed); digoxin (effect may decrease when euthyroid); amiodarone (affects thyroid function); enzyme inducers like phenytoin
carbamazepine
phenobarbital
rifampicin (may increase clearance); sertraline and other antidepressants may alter response.
