Temporary relief of minor muscular aches and pains, backache, sprains and strains, joint pain, stiffness, headache (external application), itching due to insect bites (symptomatic relief)
Acts as a topical counterirritant. Ingredients like camphor and menthol stimulate nerve endings and produce warming/cooling sensations that distract from pain and reduce the perception of soreness in muscles and joints.
For external use only. Apply a small amount to the affected area and gently massage until absorbed 2–3 times daily or as needed. For headache, apply a small amount to temples/forehead avoiding eyes. Do not apply on broken/irritated skin; wash hands after use.
Common side effects of Tiger Balm Red Ointment may include:
External use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and open wounds. Do not use under tight bandage or with heating pad; may increase irritation/burn risk. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation occurs or pain persists. Keep out of reach of children; accidental ingestion is harmful. Use with caution in children; avoid use in very young children unless advised by a doctor.
