Amitriptyline (as Amitriptyline Hydrochloride) 75 mg

Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant that increases levels of serotonin and noradrenaline in the brain by inhibiting their reuptake, improving mood. It also modulates pain pathways and has sedative effects, which can help in neuropathic pain and sleep.

Take exactly as prescribed. Usually taken by mouth once daily, preferably at bedtime due to drowsiness; can be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water. Do not stop suddenly—dose is usually tapered by the doctor.
