Important Warnings

Prescription-only NSAID. Risk of serious cardiovascular events (heart attack, stroke) may increase with dose/duration; avoid/use with caution in patients with heart disease, uncontrolled hypertension, or history of stroke. Can cause GI irritation/ulcer/bleeding (risk higher in elderly, with alcohol, steroids, anticoagulants). cyclosporine/tacrolimus (↑ kidney risk)
corticosteroids (↑ GI bleed)
rifampicin (↓ etoricoxib levels)
