What is Zanocin DS 400MG 10S used for?

Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections (UTI)
gastrointestinal infections (including infectious diarrhoea)
respiratory tract infections
skin and soft tissue infections
and certain genital infections as prescribed.

How Zanocin DS 400MG 10S Works

Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. This blocks DNA replication and repair, leading to bacterial cell death.

Dosage & Directions

Oral tablet. Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor; commonly taken once or twice daily with water. Can be taken with or without food, but avoid taking with milk/dairy, antacids or iron/calcium/zinc supplements within 2 hours before or after the dose. Complete the full course.
