Contraindicated in hormone-dependent tumors (e.g., ovarian/uterine/breast/prostate), primary ovarian failure, uncontrolled thyroid/adrenal disorders, unexplained vaginal bleeding, ovarian cysts not due to PCOS, active thromboembolic disorders. Use caution in PCOS, history of thrombosis, epilepsy, migraine, asthma, cardiac/renal disease. In boys, may cause precocious puberty/early epiphyseal closure; monitor.
