Important Warnings

Prescription-only antifungal. Can cause serious liver injury—seek help for yellowing of eyes/skin, dark urine, severe fatigue or abdominal pain; liver function monitoring may be needed. digoxin
cyclosporine/tacrolimus
certain benzodiazepines
calcium channel blockers; reduced absorption with PPIs/H2 blockers/antacids; rifampicin/rifabutin/phenytoin/carbamazepine reduce itraconazole levels.
