For use as directed by a doctor/diabetes educator. Do not share the pen (infection risk) even if the needle is changed. Use a new needle for every injection and dispose of needles in a sharps container. Ensure correct insulin cartridge type/strength as prescribed; wrong insulin/dose can cause severe hypoglycaemia or hyperglycaemia. Do not use if damaged or if dosing mechanism is not functioning; seek training before first use.

Not applicable for the device itself; insulin interactions depend on the insulin used (e.g., beta-blockers may mask hypoglycaemia, corticosteroids may raise blood glucose, alcohol increases hypoglycaemia risk).

Store the pen as per manufacturer instructions; generally keep clean and dry, away from excessive heat, direct sunlight and moisture. Store insulin cartridges as per insulin labeling; do not freeze insulin.
