Uses & Benefits
Prevention of sunburn and photoaging; protection from UVA/UVB radiation; helps prevent tanning, pigmentation, and sun-induced darkening of skin; suitable for daily photoprotection in sensitive/acne-prone skin (gel base).
How It Works
It combines chemical UV filters that absorb UV radiation and convert it to less harmful energy, with physical/mineral filters that reflect and scatter UV rays. This broad-spectrum protection reduces UV-induced skin damage and pigmentation when applied adequately and reapplied.
Directions for Use
For external use only. Apply a generous, even layer on face/neck and other exposed areas 15–20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2–3 hours and after sweating, swimming, towel-drying, or prolonged outdoor exposure. Use daily; can be used under makeup.
Side Effects
Mild burning or stinging, redness, itching, dryness, acne/comedones, allergic rash, eye irritation if it gets into eyes
Warnings & Precautions
Patch test if you have sensitive skin. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and broken/irritated skin; rinse with water if contact occurs. Discontinue and consult a dermatologist if severe irritation, swelling, or rash occurs. Sunscreen is only one part of sun protection—use hats, clothing, and shade. Not intended for ingestion; keep out of reach of children.
Drug Interactions
No clinically significant drug interactions expected for topical sunscreen. If using with prescription topical acne/depigmenting agents (retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, AHAs), skin irritation may increase; use moisturizer and follow dermatologist advice.
