Lasix 40 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Taking Furosemide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
Lasix 40 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Lasix 40 mg Tablet is recommended.<br/>However, use of Lasix 40 mg Tablet is not recommended in severe kidney disease patients who are unable to pass urine or the kidney damage is due to some medicines. Please inform your doctor.
Lasix 40 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lasix 40 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Lasix 40 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of oedema and high blood pressure. It treats oedema (fluid overload) associated with heart, liver, kidney or lung disease.
Lasix 40 mg Tablet is a diuretic. It removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body by increasing the amount of urine produced. In doing so, it causes potassium loss.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lasix 40 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
