Mefenamic acid is an NSAID that reduces pain and inflammation by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic (anticholinergic) that relaxes smooth muscles of the gut/uterus, reducing cramps and spasm.
Tablet to be taken orally as advised by a doctor. Usually taken after food to reduce stomach upset; swallow with water. Do not exceed prescribed dose/duration and avoid using for prolonged periods without medical advice.
nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, indigestion, diarrhoea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation
Prescription-only (Schedule H). NSAIDs may cause stomach ulcer/bleeding and kidney problems—use caution in elderly, history of peptic ulcer/GI bleed, kidney disease, dehydration.
