Helps prevent and treat dehydration due to diarrhea, vomiting, excessive sweating, heat, or travel; supports electrolyte balance and hydration with added immunity nutrients.

ORS provides glucose and electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chloride/citrate) that enhance water absorption from the intestine via sodium-glucose co-transport. This restores fluids and electrolytes lost during dehydration; added vitamins/minerals help meet increased nutritional needs during illness.

Drink powder: dissolve the entire contents as directed on the pack in the specified quantity of clean water; stir well and consume in small frequent sips. Use freshly prepared solution; do not add sugar or mix with milk/soft drinks. Follow physician advice for children/elderly or if symptoms persist.

Nausea, abdominal bloating, vomiting, increased thirst

Seek medical advice if severe dehydration, persistent vomiting, blood in stool, high fever, or diarrhea lasting >24 hours in children or >48 hours in adults. Use with caution in kidney disease, heart failure, uncontrolled hypertension, or conditions requiring restricted sodium/potassium intake. Do not use if solution is cloudy or incorrectly mixed; over-concentrated ORS can worsen diarrhea or cause electrolyte imbalance. Diabetics should use with caution due to glucose content.

No major interactions when used as directed; use caution with drugs affecting electrolytes such as diuretics, ACE inhibitors/ARBs, potassium supplements, corticosteroids, lithium (risk of electrolyte imbalance).

Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep sachets tightly sealed. Prepared solution should be consumed promptly and discarded within the time mentioned on pack (commonly within 24 hours if refrigerated).
