Tonact D 10 Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.<br>Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Tonact D 10 Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Taking Atorvastatin with alcohol may increase the risk of liver damage.

Tonact D 10 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and Vitamin D3 which treat high cholesterol. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Vitamin D3 is added to relieve the muscular pain caused by Atorvastatin.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. TONact 10 Tablet may be taken with or without food.
