Monograph
Capsule
Nutritional supplement for nerve health; used as adjuvant in peripheral neuropathy (e.g., diabetic neuropathy), numbness/tingling, neuropathic pain and vitamin deficiency states (as prescribed).
Nerve health supplements typically provide neurotropic vitamins/antioxidants that help in myelin formation, neuronal metabolism and repair, and reduce oxidative stress. This may help improve nerve function and relieve neuropathy symptoms over time.
Capsule: take as directed by physician, usually after food. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Duration depends on indication and response.
Nausea, stomach upset, constipation, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, flushing, allergic rash
Not a substitute for a balanced diet. Use with caution in liver disease, kidney disease, or history of allergy to any component. If you have severe neuropathy, diabetes, are pregnant/breastfeeding, or are on long-term medicines, consult a doctor before use. Stop and seek medical help if signs of allergy occur.
May interact with levodopa (if pyridoxine/Vit B6 present without carbidopa), anticoagulants/antiplatelets (if omega-3 or high-dose vitamin E present), antidiabetic medicines (some antioxidants may affect glucose control), alcohol (may worsen neuropathy and reduce vitamin absorption).
