Uses & Benefits
Provides graduated compression to help manage symptoms of varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency; helps reduce leg swelling (edema), heaviness and discomfort; may be used after vein procedures as advised.
How It Works
Graduated compression applies higher pressure at the ankle and gradually less up the calf, improving venous return. This reduces venous pooling, supports vein valves and helps decrease swelling and leg fatigue.
Directions for Use
Wear as directed by a clinician. Typically put on in the morning before getting out of bed or before swelling starts; ensure smooth fit without wrinkles; remove at night unless advised otherwise. Choose correct size (Large) and below-knee length; hand-wash and air-dry to maintain elasticity.
Side Effects
Skin irritation, itching, redness, discomfort/tightness, pressure marks, dryness, numbness/tingling if too tight
Warnings & Precautions
Ensure correct sizing and compression level; overly tight stockings can impair circulation. Use with caution/medical advice in peripheral arterial disease, severe neuropathy (e.g., diabetes), severe leg ischemia, skin infections/ulcers, dermatitis, or heart failure with significant edema. Stop use and seek advice if pain, numbness, blue/cold toes, worsening swelling, or skin breakdown occurs.
Storage Instructions
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat; keep clean and dry; avoid contact with oils/creams that can damage elastic fibers.
