Relief of localized muscle and joint pain due to sprains, strains, sports injuries, back/neck/shoulder pain, tendonitis, and mild arthritis-related pain
How It Works
Diclofenac is an NSAID that reduces pain and inflammation by inhibiting prostaglandin formation at the site of injury. Methyl salicylate, menthol and linseed oil provide counter-irritant and soothing effects, improving local blood flow and reducing the perception of pain.
Directions for Use
For external use only. Shake well and spray on the affected area from a short distance; spread gently if needed. Use 3-4 times daily or as directed by a doctor; avoid applying on broken/irritated skin and wash hands after use.
Side Effects
Skin irritation, burning or stinging sensation, redness, itching, rash, dryness
Warnings & Precautions
External use only. Do not apply on cuts, wounds, infected or eczematous skin. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and mucous membranes; rinse with water if contact occurs. Do not use with heat pads/tight bandages; flammable—keep away from flame and do not puncture/incinerate can. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation, blistering or allergy occurs. Use with caution in people allergic to NSAIDs/salicylates; do not use on large areas or for prolonged periods unless advised.
Drug Interactions
Minimal with correct topical use; however, excessive use over large areas may increase risk with other NSAIDs (ibuprofen, diclofenac tablets), anticoagulants/antiplatelets (warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel), corticosteroids (higher GI bleed risk), methotrexate, lithium. Avoid using other topical irritants on same area.
