How It Works
Formoterol is a long-acting beta-2 agonist (LABA) that relaxes bronchial smooth muscle. It widens airways for up to 12 hours, improving airflow and reducing symptoms.
Directions for Use
Use exactly as prescribed. Inhale the recommended number of puffs using correct MDI technique; rinse mouth if advised. Not a rescue inhaler—keep a reliever (e.g., salbutamol) for sudden symptoms.

Tremor, palpitations, headache, nervousness, throat irritation, muscle cramps, nausea
Warnings & Precautions
Do not use alone as monotherapy in asthma without an inhaled corticosteroid. Not for acute attacks. Use caution in heart disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, and hypokalemia. Seek help for worsening breathlessness or increased reliever use.
Drug Interactions
Beta-blockers (may reduce effect), other sympathomimetics, diuretics/corticosteroids (increase hypokalemia risk), MAO inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants, QT-prolonging drugs
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C away from heat and direct sunlight; do not puncture or expose canister to high temperatures. Keep inhaler dry and capped.
