What is Alaspan Am Tab used for?

Prevention of heart attack and stroke in patients at risk; secondary prevention after myocardial infarction/angina
post-angioplasty/CABG; management of high cholesterol with cardiovascular risk reduction.

How Alaspan Am Tab Works

Aspirin irreversibly inhibits platelet COX-1, reducing thromboxane A2 and thereby preventing platelet aggregation (blood clot formation). Atorvastatin inhibits HMG‑CoA reductase, lowering LDL cholesterol and stabilizing atherosclerotic plaques, reducing cardiovascular events.

Dosage & Directions

Tablet; take once daily as prescribed, preferably at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food; swallow whole with water. Do not stop without medical advice.
