What is Alkasol used for?

Urinary alkaliser used to relieve burning urination and symptoms associated with acidic urine (e.g.
dysuria in urinary tract infections) and to help prevent/treat certain types of kidney stones where urine alkalinisation is advised.

How Alkasol Works

Urinary alkalinisers raise urine pH by providing alkaline salts/bicarbonate, which reduces acidity of urine. This can ease irritation and burning during urination and may reduce formation of uric acid/cystine stones when urine is kept less acidic.

Dosage & Directions

Oral liquid. Dilute the measured dose in a glass of water and take after meals, as advised by the doctor. Maintain adequate fluid intake unless restricted; follow prescribed frequency and duration.
