Known side effects of Altamoxx Fort 457MG Susp include Diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, rash, urticaria (hives), headache, thrush (candidiasis). Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings
Prescription-only antibiotic. Do not use in patients with allergy to penicillins/cephalosporins or previous severe allergic reaction; stop and seek urgent care if breathing difficulty, facial swelling, or severe rash occurs. Use with caution in liver disease; monitor if prolonged therapy (risk of liver enzyme elevation/jaundice). Dose adjustment may be needed in kidney impairment. May cause antibiotic-associated diarrhoea; seek medical advice if severe, persistent, or bloody diarrhoea. Not effective for viral infections.
