Amoxicillin 400 mg + Clavulanic acid 57 mg per 5 ml oral suspension (total 457 mg/5 ml)
Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections such as ear infections (otitis media), sinusitis, throat/tonsil infections, lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis/pneumonia), urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and dental infections.
Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that kills bacteria by inhibiting cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic acid inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes produced by some bacteria, thereby protecting amoxicillin and extending its antibacterial spectrum.
Oral suspension: reconstitute with boiled and cooled water up to the mark and shake well. Give the dose as prescribed by the doctor (commonly in divided doses every 12 hours); preferably with food to reduce stomach upset. Shake well before each dose, use a measuring spoon/syringe, and complete the full course.

May cause antibiotic-associated diarrhoea; seek medical advice if severe, persistent, or bloody diarrhoea. Not effective for viral infections.
