AMLENOX ORAL PASTE is used for Treatment of recurrent aphthous stomatitis (mouth ulcers/canker sores); helps reduce pain, redness and promotes healing of oral ulcers.
Amlexanox is an anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic agent. It inhibits release of inflammatory mediators (e.g., histamine and leukotrienes) from mast cells and reduces local inflammation, thereby decreasing pain and speeding ulcer healing.
Dosage & Directions
For topical use in mouth only. Apply a small amount directly on the ulcer (after drying the area gently) usually 4 times daily—after meals and at bedtime—or as directed by a doctor. Avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes after application. Do not swallow intentionally.
