How Amlovas AT Tablet Works
Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, reducing peripheral resistance and blood pressure. Atenolol is a beta-1 selective blocker that slows heart rate and decreases cardiac output, lowering blood pressure and reducing angina symptoms.
Dosage & Directions
Take orally as directed by physician, usually once daily at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food; swallow tablet with water. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.
