Known side effects of Antovit Tab include Nausea, stomach upset, abdominal discomfort, constipation, diarrhoea, headache, metallic taste, urine discoloration (bright yellow). Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings

Do not use if allergic to any ingredient. Use with caution in kidney disease, history of kidney stones, iron overload disorders (e.g., haemochromatosis), hypercalcaemia, or if taking other vitamin supplements (risk of overdosing). If pregnant/breastfeeding or for children, use only on medical advice. Stop and seek care if rash, swelling, or breathing difficulty occurs.

Drug Interactions

Antovit Tab may interact with the following:

May reduce absorption/effect when taken with tetracycline/quinolone antibiotics
levothyroxine
bisphosphonates (separate by 2–4 hours). Antacids/cholestyramine/orlistat may reduce vitamin absorption. If the product contains vitamin K
it may interact with warfarin (monitor INR).

Always tell your doctor about all medicines you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements.
