What is AZITUS 100 SUS 15ML used for?

Bacterial infections such as upper and lower respiratory tract infections (pharyngitis/tonsillitis

How AZITUS 100 SUS 15ML Works

Azithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic. It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, thereby stopping growth and helping clear the infection.

Dosage & Directions

Oral suspension: Reconstitute with boiled and cooled water up to the mark, shake well. Give the measured dose using a calibrated spoon/syringe, once daily as prescribed; can be taken with or without food (with food if stomach upset). Shake well before each dose and complete the full course.
