Risk of hypoglycaemia—monitor blood glucose, especially when changing dose, meal pattern, activity or other medicines. Do not use during episodes of hypoglycaemia. Use caution in renal/hepatic impairment, elderly, and those with hypoglycaemia unawareness. Rotate injection sites to reduce lipodystrophy. Do not share pens/needles to prevent infection transmission. Seek urgent care for severe hypoglycaemia, allergic reactions, or signs of infection.
Pregnancy Safety
Consult doctor (often used when clinically needed; dose adjustments and close monitoring required)
Alcohol Interaction
Use with caution (may cause unpredictable blood glucose changes and increase hypoglycaemia risk)
