Important Warnings

Use with caution in liver impairment (dose adjustment may be needed). Do not discontinue suddenly due to risk of increased seizures; taper as advised.

Drug Interactions

Brivanext 25 Tab may interact with the following:

Rifampicin (may reduce brivaracetam levels)
carbamazepine (may increase carbamazepine-epoxide)
phenytoin (levels may increase at higher brivaracetam doses)
alcohol and other CNS depressants (additive sedation).
