Treatment of partial-onset (focal) seizures in epilepsy, as monotherapy or adjunctive therapy (as prescribed).

How it works

Brivaracetam is an antiepileptic that binds selectively to synaptic vesicle protein 2A (SV2A) in the brain. This modulates neurotransmitter release and helps stabilize abnormal electrical activity, reducing seizure frequency.

Directions for use

Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed, usually twice daily, with or without food; swallow whole with water. Do not stop abruptly without medical advice.

Warnings & precautions

Use with caution in liver impairment (dose adjustment may be needed). Do not discontinue suddenly due to risk of increased seizures; taper as advised.
