Important Warnings

Use with caution in kidney impairment (dose adjustment may be needed). Persistent/severe diarrhoea may indicate antibiotic-associated colitis—seek medical help. May cause positive Coombs test and can affect some urine glucose tests. Do not stop early to reduce resistance.
