Important Warnings

Prescription-only antibiotic; use only for confirmed/suspected bacterial infection. Do not use if allergic to cefuroxime/cephalosporins; use caution in patients with penicillin allergy. Prolonged use may cause superinfection (e.g., fungal) and antibiotic-associated diarrhoea/Clostridioides difficile; seek medical help for severe/persistent diarrhoea.
