Perindopril erbumine 8 mg
Hypertension (high blood pressure), heart failure, prevention of cardiovascular events in stable coronary artery disease
Perindopril is an ACE inhibitor that blocks conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, causing vasodilation and lowering blood pressure. It reduces aldosterone-mediated salt and water retention, decreasing cardiac workload.
Take as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time. Can be taken with or without food; often advised before meals. Do not stop abruptly without medical advice; monitor BP regularly.
Common side effects of Coversyl 8 Tablet may include:

Monitor kidney function and potassium, especially in elderly, dehydrated patients, or those with kidney disease. Avoid in pregnancy; contraindicated in history of angioedema. Use caution with severe aortic stenosis and after recent vomiting/diarrhea due to low BP risk.
