Atorvastatin 20 mg + Clopidogrel 75 mg
Prevention of cardiovascular events in patients with coronary artery disease, post-heart attack, post-angioplasty/stent, high cholesterol with high clot risk (as advised)
Clopidogrel inhibits platelet aggregation by blocking P2Y12 receptors, reducing clot formation. Atorvastatin lowers LDL cholesterol by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase and also stabilizes atherosclerotic plaques, reducing cardiovascular risk.
Take once daily as prescribed; can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time daily. Avoid stopping clopidogrel without medical advice. Limit grapefruit juice with atorvastatin.
Common side effects of Deplatt Cv 20 Capsule may include:
Bleeding risk due to clopidogrel; inform doctor before procedures. Atorvastatin may cause muscle injury (seek help for unexplained muscle pain/weakness, dark urine) and liver enzyme elevation; caution in liver disease. Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding due to statin component.
