Important Warnings

Do not use if allergic to budesonide. Use with caution in nasal infections, recent nasal surgery/trauma, untreated fungal/bacterial/viral infections (including TB), or recurrent nosebleeds. Prolonged/high-dose use may rarely cause systemic steroid effects (adrenal suppression, slowed growth in children), cataract/glaucoma; seek medical advice if vision changes occur. Rinse/clean spray nozzle regularly; do not share the spray.

Drug Interactions

Derinide Aq Nasal Spray may interact with the following:

Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors may increase budesonide levels (e.g.
ketoconazole
itraconazole
clarithromycin
ritonavir/cobicistat-containing regimens). Concurrent corticosteroids (oral/inhaled) may add to steroid burden. Inform doctor about all medicines.
