What is Diabend Mex 60 Tab used for?

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (non-insulin-dependent diabetes) to improve blood glucose control
usually along with diet and exercise; may be used alone or with other antidiabetic medicines as prescribed.

How Diabend Mex 60 Tab Works

Gliclazide is a sulfonylurea antidiabetic that stimulates insulin release from pancreatic beta cells by closing ATP-sensitive potassium channels. This increases insulin secretion and helps lower blood glucose, particularly after meals.

Dosage & Directions

Oral tablet. Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily with breakfast (do not skip meals). Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew modified-release tablets. Monitor blood sugar regularly and follow diet/exercise advice.
