What is Diclotal Inj 3ML used for?

Relief of pain and inflammation in acute conditions such as postoperative pain
renal colic

How Diclotal Inj 3ML Works

Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclo-oxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis. This decreases pain, inflammation and fever.

Dosage & Directions

Injection for intramuscular (deep IM into gluteal muscle) or slow intravenous infusion/injection only as prescribed. Usually given for short-term use; avoid repeated injections at the same site. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration; may be given with food/antacid when switching to oral NSAIDs to reduce gastric irritation.
